Summer Kids Camps

Humane Society of Kent County

These fun and educational camps are for children ages 5 – 15.  In affordable week-long sessions, children learn about animal safety, how to be a responsible pet owner, shelter operations, careers in animal-related fields and animals with interesting and helpful jobs. Kids are encouraged to share what they learn with their family, friends and neighbors. With the help of dogs, cats and critters from our shelter, and animal experts from our community, it’s a dog-gone good time! For camp details and to register download our 2009 Summer Camp Program Booklet  or contact Jennifer Self, Humane Education Coordinator at (616) 791-8066 or jennifer@hskc.org. Please note: Both sessions of the Animal Academy Camp, July 27-31 are now CLOSED.
