Pet Care Assistance Program
The Pet Care Assistance Program is a program designed to help
low-income pet owners with low-cost vaccinations, spay/neuter
vouchers, behavior counseling and pet supplies. Currently the
Humane Society of Kent County is partnering with three nonprofit
human service agencies to provide these services to their
clients.

Konnection Program
Under the Pet care Assistance Program the
Humane Society also operates Kibble Konnection, a pet food bank
program that helps low-income pet owners provide food for their
pets.
Kibble Konnection is open to the public,
but interested individuals will need to fill out an application
prior to the distribution dates. Applications can be downloaded
from the link below or you can call (616) 791-8066. Applications are valid
for six months.

The food for Kibble Konnection is donated
by the generosity of our community partners and the community.
We are
currently in need of dry dog or cat food for the Kibble
Konnection Program.
Donations
can be dropped off at the Humane Society of Kent County Tuesday
- Friday from 12 - 7 pm or Saturday 11 am - 4 pm. For additional
drop off-sites in the Kent County community please e-mail

Severe Weather Closing Information for Kibble Konnection
Distributions:
Please note:
Severe weather closing will be announced on TV and Radio like
normal community closings. Kibble Konnection clients can also
call (616) 791-8056 to check for closure. If we cancel
distribution due to severe weather, Kibble Konnection will take
place on the following Sunday. If you miss distribution due to
not wanting to drive in the weather and the Humane Society has
chosen to hold Kibble Konnection, we will not be able to
get you food on an alternate date.
