The Humane Society of Kent County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing care and shelter to animals in need. Because we do not receive any financial support from animal welfare or governmental agencies, we rely on the support of people, businesses, and community foundations to operate our facilities and programs.

How Individuals Can Help

Our Annual Fund Campaign is the foundation of our fundraising efforts. The majority of our budget is provided from individuals willing to share their gifts with us. These donations can be made at a schedule that works for you.  Our Annual Fund Campaign helps us continue to care for animals in need and provide services to the community.

For those that prefer non-monetary contributions, Humane Society of Kent County also accepts donated goods and services. For a list of our ongoing needs, please see our Wish List.

Donate a Dog Bed

We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.
